"The Sea Has No Memory" -churned water frothing from the side of a ship giving me passage to Juneau, Alaska, 2024. Holland America Cruise Lines - "Westerdam".

"Poky and Perfect" -just pine needles and a sunset. But I love how the needles are arrayed and how the sun shines through them. God has made such a beautiful world, and I love the dichotomy of the sharpness of the lines with the softness of the light. Evening - outside my home, on Glory Road, Polson, MT - 2022.

"Globules of Lilac" -as if it's an animal, this clump of lilac blossoms bursts forth feeling almost as if it will take shape and form into an arm, and then a whole lilac being - emanating and emitting such beauty and scent that one would probably allow the world to be conquered by such creatures, if they existed. If the world was ruled by lilac monsters, and we were their slaves, I'd die happy being so surrounded by such a scent every day until I die.
